Well I found the leak. Turns out the rear of the gasket roll under the valve cover. PITA to get that cover in there in the 1st place. Don't think the gasket will spring back into place after I remove the valve cover agan after I already torqued it down.

Good thing the complete gasket kit I bought a while back has 2 valve cover gaskets. I won't f**k up the 2nd one...   :cowboy:

At last a video to be had. The video was good till I got fuel. When I put the helmet back on I must of hit the mini cam and it tilted down on me.  :tantrum:  First of the ride good but I cut the video short on the last part. Nevertheless, I put it together best I could.

Then when I was opening her up the speedo needle broke off. Sumb***h just added one more thing to fix..  :wife:
Like I don't have enough.

The ride was fun...

It looks like you were having some fun today.
What gives with gas stations out of gas? This isn't a repeat of the late 70's is it?
How did the speedo needle break? Was the face loose and it hit something on it like a stop pin?

Naa, just my luck yesterday. I normally don't have problems at the 1st gas station.

The needle broke in half. Then to add insult to injury I notice the tach needle was crack too. Will half to take apart both now.

There are real bumpy roads out where I test run her. That is the only thing I can think of that cause it to break.

I took apart the dash cluster to try to fix the speedo. It is now officially toast. The needle didn't just break off it pretty much broke in pieces. No way of fixing that. With the tach needle half crack it will only do the same eventually. So now the freaking bike is down. No way am I going to put back the crap that is broken. Really f'n sucks.  :thrussian:

On a good note I'm looking into a digital speedo/tach combo like this.

I would just need to fabricate a dash maybe. All depends on how much it will fill the gap. Not sure I will do this or just wait on ebay for a good used speedo/tach to come up which could take a while and cost $$$.  :praying:
